We are fathers, sons, brothers, husbands, warriors, hustlers, and kings in the making; united not just by blood, but by purpose. Dad’s Lives Matter is more than a movement. It’s a mission to restore manhood, reclaim our families, and rebuild a culture rooted in wisdom, power, and divine responsibility.

We help men master the mental, spiritual, and legal duties that define fatherhood, manhood, and legacy. We guide men through the battles they never asked for; custody, conflict, courtrooms, and cultural confusion; while reminding them of the power they never lost.

Common Concerns and Misconceptions

❌ “Mothers have historically been default caregivers.”

✅ Historically, that may be true; mostly due to the same outdated legal, financial, and social barriers that kept women out of the workplace. They assumed women were only fit to rear children, & men are a financial provider. Due to political pressure through feminist movements, women's rights to work & their socioeconomic status has since evolved; yet the presumption of men being a mere "paycheck parent" remain. Modern evidence (and common sense) shows children thrive most when both parents are involved. Equal parenting is about evolution, not erasing history.

❌ “Fathers just want to get out of paying child support.”

✅ Many fathers want to pay, but they want to parent even more. Dad's Lives Matter reform is about shared duties, not escaping any financial responsibility. When both parents are involved, financial and emotional burdens are better balanced.

❌ “You’re trying to take power away from mothers.”

✅ We're restoring balance to a child's life, not stripping women of power. Equal parenting uplifts Mothers by supporting them, not abandoning them. There's no need for power struggles when we can be partners & work this out.

❌ “Some dads are toxic , abusive or absent.”

✅ True; and so are some Moms; neither are exempt from being righteous parents. That’s why our proposals are about equal rights with equal accountability. We advocate for the best interest of the child, with safe, responsible parenting from both sides.

❌ “This disrespects single mothers who’ve sacrificed everything.”

✅ Single mothers who’ve carried the full load are warriors. But true reform, (and the righteous Men & (Womb)men at DLM & abroad) honor both parents by creating systems to ensure the future generations don't have to go to war or suffer at all. The goal is balanced responsibility from the beginning, not blame.

❌ “This will overwhelm courts with conflict.”

✅ Actually, shared custody presumptions often reduce litigation by setting fair expectations. When parents know their rights and responsibilities upfront, unnecessary legal, emotional and financial warfare is minimized. We should avoid the use of public & government courts and institutions anyways, which would avoid the burden on the courts entirely and prevent a stranger in a robe from determining the fate of your child-parent relationship. At Dad's Lives Matter, we provide the space and resources to settle these matters privately.

❌ “If the dad was really a good man, the court would’ve given him rights.”

✅ Courts often operate under outdated assumptions and procedure. Many good fathers are sidelined simply because the system is biased. Our efforts to reform ensures character and consistency matter more than stereotypes.

❌ “Children should stay with whoever has been the primary caregiver.”

✅ Continuity is important, but so is a child's connection with their Dad. Studies show even short, yet consistent time with both parents, create more emotionally stable children. Parenting should never be reduced to one role or person.

❌ “You’re pushing a political agenda.”

✅ We’re pushing a Parental Agenda; rooted in Natural Law and backed by social science. This is about healthy families, not posts and politics. The political agenda that has been pushed on our communities was to keep us divided amongst gender, race, religion and economic status to keep from uniting and changing the way systems operate when they're not serving our best interest.

❌ “This sounds like a ‘men’s rights’ movement.”

✅ It’s a children’s rights movement. We advocate for Fathers because kids deserve both parents; not a system that chooses one based off outdated metrics and presumptions. Dad's have a dramatic impact on the well being of our children; if our efforts to ensure balanced parenting in a child's life, (our duty as Fathers), is seen as a movement for "men's rights"... we graciously accept.
